GPC's LIST Program: Classes Begin in 2006
Hear ye, hear ye, library education returns to the metropolitan Atlanta area!
Georgia Perimeter College offers its first
course in the Library & Information Science Technology (LIST) program
this Spring term (Jan.- May) 2006. It is the Introduction to Libraries and
Information Services class. While the deadline for Spring 2006 was Nov. 1st,
there is still room for Summer term classes. For program information
please contact Stephen Koplan at skoplan@gpc.edu.
For admissions information please contact Kate Henderson at khender2@gpc.edu.
Detailed information is available on the GPC web site at www.gpc.edu.
The program features two academic tracks:
a degree track leading to the Associate of Applied Science in Library and Information Technology
and a certificate of attendance track for those who already have an associate degree or higher.
A tuition waiver available to USG employees
is being considered. (Check with your HR
department to confirm this.) If some of your librarians would be
interested in serving as adjunct faculty in the program, contact program
coordinator Stephen Koplan.
