Summer Meeting Saturday, July 11, 2009  - Public Library Programming & Outreach

The Metro-Atlanta Library Association was established in 1982. Its objective is to advance library interests and services in the greater Atlanta area.

MALA meets at least four times during each calendar year. Members receive notices of the meetings, MALA programs, free borrowing privileges from the MALA video library, and an annual membership directory.  Members are entitled to use qualified meeting time for continuing education credit. The MALA professional development grant provides members an opportunity for support for professional meetings or conferences.

Membership in MALA is open to all persons interested in advancing library and information resource interests in the Metro Atlanta area.
